Google invites Indian social entrepreneurs to apply for Google Impact Challenge

Are you an Indian social entrepreneur? If so, then get ready for Google Impact Challenge in india. On the eve of India’s Independence day, Google has decided to celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship of the world’s largest democracy by bringing front the best local non-profits that are using technologies to make the tech world better.

Today, Google is going to launch Google impact challenge in India that will invite Indian nonprofits to describe how they’d used technology to improve people’s lives. The best interesting thing is that the four non-profits will get a Rs 3 Crores and technical assistance at the end of the challenge from Google to give wings to their project ideas and ultimately bring their project to reality.

Google Impact Challenge in India is a part of its ongoing social effects who are exploring new ways to make the world and technology better. According to release “Registered Indian nonprofits can apply online until September 5. Googlers from India, and around the world, will review applications and announce the 10 best projects on October 21. You can learn more about the top 10 finalists then, and cast a vote for who you think should receive the Fan Favorite award.” Final event will take place on 31^st October in which the four finalist chosen by the public vote will be announced. So Indians start voting and get ready to win by applying for Google Impacts Challenge.
