The site remains offline for a significant period of time over the weekend. Customers were not able to access Yatra.com for three days as the site was redirecting to its domainer page. The error was first spotted by the folks on twitter with a snapshot showing the mobile version of the site marked by “This domain has expired” and this news spread like fire within few minutes.

On the other hand, Yatra.com to be on safer side claims that the site is down due to some technical faults and they are working on the issue to get back on track as soon as possible. However, the real reason is not mentioned by the company. However, the site seems to be online now, through there are two links saying Backorder Domain and Renew Now seen to the far right of the logo. Still, the company has updated its domain registration for an year only i.e., till August 11th 2014.
