Facebook Acquires Bangalore-Based startup Little Eye Labs

Social Networking Giant, Facebook has acquired a Bangalore based company Little Eye Labs that makes the measuring tool for analyzing and examining the performance of android apps.

Indian based startup said in a statement on its site “Today, we’re very excited to announce that Facebook is acquiring our company. With this acquisition, Little Eye Labs will join forces with Facebook to take its mobile development to the next level! This is Facebook’s first acquisition of an Indian company, and we are happy to become part of such an incredible team. ”

Facebook Inc. paid the company about $10-15 million for the deal. The startup also said: “This is Facebook’s first acquisition of an Indian company, and we are happy to become part of such an incredible team.”

Little Eye Labs is founded in May 2012 by four Bangalore-based tech savvy people – Kumar Rangarajan (current CEO of Little Eye Labs), Satyam Kandula, Lakshman Kakkirala and Giridhar Murthy with the aim of building analysis tools for mobile apps. Little Eye is a Performance Analysis, Tracking and Monitoring tool that can help developers easily identify and fix performance problems in  Android Apps. The team of Little Eye Labs will move to Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California, where it will frame analysis tools to help mobile apps developers in developing apps. The company also said “The entire Little Eye Labs team will move to Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California. From there, we’ll be able to leverage Facebook’s world-class infrastructure and help improve performance of their already awesome apps. For us, this is an opportunity to make an impact on the more than 1 billion people who use Facebook. ”

Little Eye Labs team seems to excited to work with Facebook and for sure this team work will certainly provide necessary boost in business expansion and take their business to next level of success.
