iTunes 12.2 for OS X Yosemite

 

Apple today launched iTunes 12.2 for OS X Yosemite users, presenting desktop support for the new Apple Music Service.


Introduced today as a feature of iOS 8.4, Apple Music lets iTunes clients to listen to on-demand music, make playlists, discover music for each occasion, and the sky is the limit from there. Apple Music is also joined by Apple Music Connect, which is Apple’s new artist-centric social network, and the Beats 1 24/7 live worldwide radio station.

 

Along with My Music, Radio, Playlist and iTunes Store tabs under Music on iTunes, the new update likewise includes Apple Music’s new For You segment for survey music like your taste, and a Connect tab for following artist activities including sound clips, features, and photographs shared.

 

Subscribers of Beats Music moving to Apple Music can move playlist and libraries to Apple Music using the latest version of the iOS app with current subscribers getting iTunes credit as well. The most recent variant of iTunes is accessible through the Updates tab on the Mac App Store. Windows and Mac users can also look for the update available through iTunes, as well as the iTunes website on Apple.com here.

My Music – Find all your music in one place, including iTunes purchases, music you’ve imported from CD, and now songs from Apple Music.
